Aetherius also known as the origin of magic has always been sought after for centuries. That search has been done after two young mages from the fairy tail guild found its hideaway in a castles wall hidden within an ice cave. With this knowledge whomever gets a chance to experience its light will come out more powerful than when they entered. Both in power and knowledge. With this unlocking those who stood to help the two open it and had a chance to look into it must also help protect it from those who shouldn’t have access to it.

Beginning:snow covered terrain made the journey quite difficult, however the two managed quite nicely. they were investigating a rumor the magic council was unaware of. the origin of magic also known as AETHERIUS. who knew it’d be so far out in the cold.interlocked fingers between the two, as they arrived to a strange castle carved into the walls of on ice cave. a circular bridge had an immensely strong magical aura to it. just so happens this was the gate to the aetherius.the two attempted to activate the mechanism that kept such knowledge hidden from the sight of unexpected visitors, yet nothing happened. were they too weak? nonsense! though even when they tried a unison attack it did nothing.“gray..my love what do we do now?”eyes wander over to the sides of the castle walls . inscriptions were mounted on the walls encapsulating the surroundings , containing an unknown dialect to the ice mage . his eyes gaze in astonishment as he attempts to decipher the text ." i'm not too sure . it would seem gramps was right though . the rumors appear to be true . there is something beyond this AETHERIUS barrier . there must be someone who can translate these ancient texts . "placing his cool palms upon this ice covered wall , a large amount of magical energy radiated back towards his body . an unknown aura began manifesting within the whole castle , condensing towards the circular bridge and darting through the gate . the feedback channeled within the ice mage , causing him to fall to his knees on the cold terrain ." Ugh --- " he exclaims , crashing down to the ground ." don't touch the walls juvia . there is something about them that drains the energy . "rushing to aide her beloved as he crashed upon the harsh ground. she comforted him before looking at the ancient inscriptions herself. she could make out a few words but that was all.not enough to guess the sentence, pity. regardless the two of them pondered a bit before the water mage shot up with joy!“WAIT! fried might be able to help us. ancient inscriptions are his favorite right?”if memory serves he was the one that had ancient textbooks in his library.still engulfed by the ground , the ice mage visually nods in response to her question . the pain quivering within him was not a sharp pain similar to that of an open wound . it was as if his life force was being drained . would this mean the building fuels the mechanism ? it was difficult to tell ." we need more people to help us . i'm sure erza and lucy could help . and i suppose natsu too . "he gathers himself to his feet , using the water mage as a way to also stand up . he approaches the walls once again ." is there a way we can take some evidence with us back home ? i know gramps would also want to see this . "a faint voice could be heard within the distance . a familiar voice . he sharply turns towards the center of the fortress , looking around . he waltzes towards the circular contraption , realizing the voice was lost ." we need to go . try to remember some of the symbols juvia . we can meet up with fried when we get back home .
